Microdosing for Autistic Burnout: What People Report and What We Know

Some autistic people report that microdosing helps them feel calmer, clearer or less flattened during burnout. That does not mean it is proven, risk-free or right for everyone. Autistic burnout is a serious nervous-system and life-demand problem, not a cute productivity dip with lighting. Before considering anything experimental, start with the boring-but-powerful foundations: reduce demands, protect sleep, lower sensory load, eat regularly, track patterns and get proper medical or therapeutic support where possible. If microdosing enters the conversation at all, it belongs in the “careful, informed, legal, supported and optional” box. Not the “panic-button miracle cure” box.
